A tractor-trailer overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike early Tuesday morning, May 14, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 6 a.m. northbound north of Interchange 4 in Mount Laurel Township, according to the NJ Turnpike Authority. The right lane of two lanes was blocked, 511nj.org reported. Pair Seriously Hurt In Motorcycle Crash In South Jersey: Police
A pair of people riding a motorcycle were severely hurt when they collided with an SUV in Camden County, authorities said. They were riding west on Woodbury Turnersville Road in Gloucester Township at about 11 p.m. on Monday, May 13 when the SUV tried to turn left, Gloucester Township police said. Both riders were thrown off the motorcycle, police said. They were brought to Cooper Hospital Trauma. A concerned group of citizens in a quaint South Jersey town is hoping to change the fate of a shuttered funeral home steeped in history that's been put up for sale. The house at 334 Chester Ave., in Moorestown dates back to 1886, and was most recently the Lankenau Funeral Home. The funeral home sold the property to developers in 2022 for approximately $650,000, then, the developer subdivided the property and sold off a half-acre for a new home. A garbage truck crashed into a building in Cape May and nearly caused outdoor porches to collapse, authorities said. The Cape May Fire Department responded to the crash on Decatur Street at around 12:46 p.m. on Monday, May 13, the city's firefighters union said in a Facebook post.
