20-Year-Old Killed When Driver Rear-Ends Tractor Trailer In Pennsauken: Prosecutor
A 20-year-old man was killed in a Pennsauken crash Tuesday, April 16, authorities said. The two-car crash happened just after 3:20 p.m. on the 9000 block of Crescent Boulevard south, where a Chrysler rear-ended a tractor-trailer, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Police Chief Phil Olivo said. A passenger in the Chrysler, identified only as a 20-year-old man from Pennsauken, was entrapped and later pronounced dead on scene. Ford announced that it would recall over 450,000 Bronco Sport SUVs and Maverick vehicles because of an issue with the battery that can cause the drive train to lose power and increase the likelihood of wrecks. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a report on Friday, April 12, saying sensors in the car could fail to notice a change in the battery's power. The stepson of former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Sigalit "Siggy" Flicker has been arrested and charged for his involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, the FBI said. To help nab Tyler Campanella, the FBI reviewed videos and images on social media — including one shared by Flicker, which shows him at the Capitol. "I love patriots so much," Flicker wrote. A Port Newark mechanic who was convicted of ducking taxes on $2.5 million of income was sentenced to nearly 2½ years in federal prison. Jonathan Michael, 55, of Springfield had filed returns and paid his taxes without fail for decades, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a release. Nasir Tart died of an apparent gunshot wound, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins.
