Bear Spotted Near Playground, Park In East Fishkill There's another bear making the rounds in Dutchess. The East Fishkill Police Department said it received a report Monday afternoon of the bear sighted on a neighbors's property in the area of Quail Run Road in Wiccopee, a hamlet in East Fishkill. After a police officer had been sent to patrol the area since it's near a park and playground, it appeared the bear had moved on, police said. This is the time of year young bears move out of the den and find their own territory, East Fishkill Police are reminding residents.
