Arctic Blast: Wind-Chill Factor Will Dip To Zero To -10 In Peekskill

Wind-chill factors will dip to below zero overnight into Sunday morning.

"The arctic air will deliver one of the coldest days of the winter for portions of upstate New York and New England on Saturday," according to AccuWeather.com Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams.

After a brisk and bitterly cold day Saturday in which the high temperature will struggle to reach the upper 20s with real-feel temps in the teens, the overnight low will be in the single digits with wind-chill values falling to around zero to -10 degrees.

Winds will be sustained around 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph Saturday.

Sunday will be sunny with a high around 30 degrees and wind-chill values between -5 and 5.

Temperatures will warm up Monday with highs in the mid-40s under partly sunny skies and calm winds.
