Peekskill Player Part Of Hampton's Historic Lacrosse Team

HAMPTON, Va. -- A White Plains athlete is the co-captain of the first historically black colleges and universities school to field a Division I lacrosse team, according to ESPN.com.

Darrel Kidd Jr., a sophomore who, along with co-captain Jeremy Triplett, leads the Hampton University team, said his experience at the university has been special, according to ESPN.

Kidd, according to the university's website, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 205 pounds. He attended Peekskill High School.
