Troopers interviewed school officials who stated that they had received anonymous phone calls from a male subject or subjects, who made threats against the school. Principal James Mackin immediately ordered that the school be placed on lock-down on both dates.
School grounds were evacuated immediately by troopers and school faculty. Nothing suspicious was found after a thorough sweep of the school conducted by State Police canine units.
State Troopers were on site at all Hendrick Hudson schools on Oct. 30. State Police are requesting that anyone with information regarding the suspicious phone calls contact the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Cortlandt Barracks by calling 914-769-2600. Calls can remain anonymous.
