Meet Peekskill Police Chief Johansen On Saturday

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Peekskill Police Chief Eric Johansen is opening up a dialogue with the residents of Peekskill. 

The City of Peekskill Police Department is set to host a special "Meet The Chief" public meeting on Saturday.

Johansen is set to host a special "Meet The Chief" public meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday across from the Farmers Market on Bank Street, according to a news release from the city. The meeting is also set to feature free child car-seat installation and inspection and disaster preparation help, according to the release. 

"We encourage you to come by and meet Chief Eric Johansen to share your feelings on how we are doing; what we can do to improve; or to simply say hello," Peekskill Police said in a statement Thursday. 

The Hudson Valley Health Center and The Preservation Company  will be joining the department to help distribute information to the public. The Peekskill Middle School Environmental Club will help handing out the disaster preparation brochures.
