PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Victor R. Palmer, a lifelong Peekskill resident, died on Tuesday, July 7. He was 90.
He was born on Aug. 22, 1924, to Victor and Edna (Delagrange) Palmer.
Palmer was a World War II veteran, and served three tours in the U.S. Air Force.
He worked as a bus driver-custodian for the Lakeland School District for many years until retiring.
His wife, Priscialla died in 2009. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2008.
He is survived by a son, James Palmer and daughter Gail Palmer, and by two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Michael Palmer
Visiting hours will be at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill on Monday from 9 to 11 a.m.
Interment with military honors will follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
