Thomas James Brogan, 84, Of Peekskill, Retired Con Edison Employee

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Thomas James Brogan of Peekskill, formerly of Lake Carmel, died Oct. 22. He was 84.

Brogan was born Sept. 21, 1930, in New York City, to Martin and Bridget Loftus Brogan. He  served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Con Edison in Westchester, retiring as a general foreman, in the gas department.

Brogan is survived by his wife, Mary Brogan of Peekskill; children, Thomas (Jamie) Brogan of Beekman, James Brogan of Peekskill, Edward (Harriet) Brogan of Pawling, Mary (Michael) McCormick of Ridgefield, Ann (Raymond) Morrison of Venice, Fla., and Martin (Debbi) Brogan of Yorktown; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Marchisello.

Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Assumption Church, Peekskill. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
