PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Antoinette Desmarais of Peekskill died May 1. She was 82.
Desmarais was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Montreal, Canada. She was a lifelong resident of Peekskill and attended local schools. She worked for many years at Monument Printers until her retirement.
Desmarais is survived by her son, Kenneth Yorgensen (Ann Marie); two grandchildren; sisters, June (Don) Tompkins and Nina Lynt; brothers, Gary and Wilfred Desmarais; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Edward Desmarais; mother, Lily (Landry) Desmarais; and brother, Louis Desmarais.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 7 from 4 to 6 p.m.
