RED Day was created to unite Keller Williams Realty offices and associates in an international day of service. Keller Williams Realty Partners chose to spend Red Day collecting food at local area supermarkets to help fill the pantries at the Yorktown Help Community Center and Fred’s Pantry in Peekskill.

The group collected an estimated $4,000 in food collection for the hungry.

“This event made a huge impact on each of us personally,” said Celeste Boglioli, chairperson for Keller Williams Realty Partners' charity events. “It was rewarding, but at the same time, eye-opening and astounding to realize how many hungry families we have in our community. We were very blessed to help in some small way. But most of all we were overwhelmed by the generosity of those that filled our baskets to help those less fortunate – what wonderful communities we live in.”

Since the first RED Day in 2009, Keller Williams associates have given hundreds of thousands of hours of community service through activities ranging from food and blood drives to rebuilding homes and schools for community members in need. To this day, it is one of the largest events in the real estate industry.
