Peekskill Man Arrested for Robbery in Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- A 25-year-old man from Peekskill was arrested after he allegedly stole money and physically injured someone in Yorktown.

Yorktown Police report they responded to a call on October 26 at 6:45 p.m. to a call of a robbery on Kear St. Police found that Nathaniel S. Tisdell allegedly stole money and caused physical injury to a victim. Inital attempts to locate the alleged robber were unsuccessful, an arrest warrant was obtained and police discovered Tisdell was being held in Westchester County Jail for an unrelated charge.

On November 22, the Westchester County Department of Corrections transported Tisdell to Yorktown Court, where he was placed under Yorktown Police custody. He was processed on the warrant and then remanded to Westchester County. He is due to appear in court December 1 at 6 p.m.
