PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Two new housing projects are advancing in downtown Peekskill, according to a report by theexaminernews.com.

The city was updated last week on plans for a 150-unit, nine-story apartment and parking garage on a site located between Park and Brown streets, and was also told that construction on a Main Street project with 50 art lofts and 25 apartments is about to get under way, theexaminernews.com story said.

A third project is waiting in the wings and Mayor Frank Catalina says he is thrilled with the way the city is progressing, theexaminernews.com reported.

According to theexaminernews.com, the art loft and apartment complex, with retail stores and community space, is being proposed for Diven Street.
