Schuylkill County Man Killed In Berks Crash: Pennsylvania State Police A Pottsville man has died after a crash in Bethel Township on Tuesday, May 7, state police say.  William J. Lecher, 56, was headed north on Route 183 when he lost control near the Appalachian Trail, troopers said in a release.  Authorities said his Chevrolet Silverado entered the southbound lane before crossing onto the shoulder, striking a sign, and coming to rest on a grassy embankment.  Troopers found him unresponsive at the scene and he later died at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital according to the release.  According to his obituary from James E. Suspect Punched Victim In Face, Fled The Scene In Allentown: Police State troopers are looking for a suspect in an Allentown assault.  Authorities said the pictured man walked by the victim, punched him one time in the face, and walked away.  It happened near the Sherwin Williams at 1900 Catasauqua Road on April 27, state police said. PA Mom Fatally Hits Toddler Daughter With Car: Police (Updated) A  woman fatally struck her daughter with her car in Philadelphia's Crescentville neighborhood on Wednesday evening, May 8, the police told Daily Voice.   The 31-year-old woman was driving a Chevrolet Traverse when she struck the 2-year-old girl in the 200 block of Comly Street around 5:30 p.m., PPD explained.   The toddler was taken to Einstein Hospital in critical condition and later died, according to police.  An investigation into this deadly incident is ongoing.
