Peekskill Resident Shares Her Favorite 'Photo Of The Day'

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill Metro North train station is one of Leah Sigler-Christoffersen's favorite places and so, when we asked readers to send in photos, that's what she submitted.

"It's my favorite place in Peekskill because it's always uniquely beautiful in its own way -- every morning on my way to work in the city, and every evening sunset," she said.

"This particular evening's scenery (taken the last week of December) was so intriguing that many of the commuters who got off the train took a moment to walk to the water and admire before walking to their cars. It actually brought a lot of us strangers together. We were sharing our photographs and sharing in appreciation of the natural beauty."
