PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The sixth "Peekskill Project" opened Sept. 27 and will continue through the end of the year, reported the New York Times.
Visitors to Peekskill can enjoy many of the works by looking at sculptures, outdoor installations or paintings on the exteriors of buildings, but some of the 56 artists painted abstracts on interior walls of private homes, the story said.
While artists came from all over the world, 15 of them are from the Hudson Valley, the story said. The art jurors wanted to celebrate local artists, as well as the locale, according to the New York Times.
