Friday, Jan. 18

Classical, Jazz and Bossa Nova In Between: 7:30 p.m. Join local musicians Larry Del Casale, Tony Romano and Christina Rohm for a night of diverse performances. Admission is $10. BeanRunner Café, 201 S. Division St.

Eric Haight: 9:30 p.m. Haight’s band includes Paul Bisbano on bass, Paul Undersinger on drums, Frankie Munz on harp and vocals and other special guests. Admission is a $5 entertainment fee for all, including diners. 12 Grapes, 12 N. Division St.

Vintage Vinyl: 10 p.m. The band will perform a free set of deep cuts from the '60s and '70s for patrons. Birdsall House, 970 Main St.

Saturday, Jan. 19

“Rip” Book Reading and signing: 1 to 3 p.m. Novelist, essayist and journalist Nicholas DiGiovanni will read from "Rip," his modern satirical retelling of the Washington Irving classic "Rip Van Winkle." Published by Black Angel Press in 2011, this is a humorous parody. DiGiovanni was selected to receive three creative writing fellowships at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and he founded the Delaware Valley Poetry Festival. This program is free to the public and refreshments will be served. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Jazz: As Smooth As It Gets: 7:30 p.m. A night of jazz with Clifford Carter (keyboard), Art Hightower (drums, percussion, vocals) and Christopher Dean Sullivan (bass). Admission is $10. BeanRunner Café, 201 S. Division St.

The Geoff Hartwell Band: 9:30 p.m. Band performs classic and Southern rock covers as well as Geoff's original tunes. Geoff Hartwell has performed with legends such as Gregg Allman, Sonny Landreth, Tab Benoit and John Hammond. Admission is a $5 entertainment fee for all, including diners. 12 Grapes, 12 N. Division St.

Sunday, Jan. 20

Ninth Annual Martin Luther King Celebration: 4 p.m. The Restoration Company event will feature dinner, an art program and an art auction. See our feature article for more information. Colonial Terrace, Cortlandt Manor.

Chris Bruni: 4 p.m. Chris Bruni mixes folk, pop and soul in a simple song approach that calls to mind artists like Martin Sexton, Stevie Wonder and David Gray. Admission is free. BeanRunner Café, 201 S. Division St.

Monday, Jan. 21
