More than 35 vendors showed up to offer various services to the seniors who attended. Health professionals offered cholesterol and blood pressure screenings and exhibitors were also on hand to offer health and consumer information.

“I would like to thank all the vendors that attended to provide their services to the seniors, especially the great folks from the Cortlandt Manor Shop Rite for donating breakfast for all those that attended,” said Ball. “I always enjoy the opportunity to spend time with the seniors in my community.”

President of Hudson Valley Hospital Center John Federspiel, said at a community hospital, staff are as committed to preventing illnesses as they are to treating them.

“The fair provides a place for seniors to get free health screenings and information and to speak with doctors and other health practitioners in one location close to home,” Federspiel said.

Cortlandt Supervisor Linda Puglisi thanked the hospital and Ball, as well as the vendors, for hosting the event again this year.

“I see a lot of familiar faces that come back every year to education our senior citizens, we are very grateful for them,” Puglisi said.
