Peekskill Central Market Hopes To Open Soon

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Developer and realtor Gabriel Arango hopes to have the Peekskill Central Market open for business by the end of October, according to the Northern Westchester Examiner.

Arango purchased the 15,200 square foot building five years ago with plans to fully renovate the property by keeping the theater and allowing space for several small businesses. The path to completion, however, has been littered with setbacks, including a fire in 2014 that caused roughly $450,000 in damage, the Northern Westchester Examiner said.
