Milling and resurfacing on Hillside Avenue, Prospect Place and High Street is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8. Police said that cars should be removed from those roadways before work begins, or else they risk being towed or ticketed.

The milling is expected to be completed by Monday night, with asphalt paving beginning the following morning, weather permitted.

Officials from Croton-on-Hudson DPW said that “during this time, parking on the street will not be permitted. ‘No Parking’ signs will be posted within the construction area. In order to properly and efficiently perform the work, these roadways will be closed during this phase of the project. Emergency vehicles will be allowed access at all times. The temporary detouring of traffic will be necessary.”
