Peekskill Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Investigated By School District

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill School District has reassigned girls varsity basketball coach Rodney Headley, Jr. and is investigating him in connection with a "personal matter," according to LoHud.com.

Headley did not coach the team in its 62-47 loss to Maine-Endwell in the state regional championship game, LoHud.com reported.

Headly is a teacher at Peekskill Middle School. Superintendent Larry Licopoli did not say if the investigation was basketball related, LoHud.com reported.
