The students won the gold cup for their ideas regarding Twitter’s recent initial public offering, the article said.

The team comprised five seniors, one junior and three sophomores, who gave a 15-minute presentation on the topic, the article said. Faculty advisers from Peekskill were not allowed into the room while students were developing their presentations.

Each Peekskill student was given a Kindle Fire as a winning prize, the article said, and the students and their families also will be treated to a celebratory dinner where medals will be awarded to the students.
