Peekskill School Board Recognizes Retiring Employees, Tenured Teachers

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill Board of Education bid a fond farewell recently to a group of retiring staff members while it told newly tenured teachers that it looked forward to “growing” with them.

Retired teachers and other employees were honored recently for their years of service at ceremonies hosted by the Peekskill Board of Education.

At a special ceremony, school trustees formally thanked retirees for their years of service and for the positive impact they had made on the school system and its students.

Here are the retirees, where they taught or what they did, and for how many years:
