Kayla S. Spearman, 24, of Peekskill, was charged with DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies. She was charged with felony DWI due to a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years.

Spearman was found to be intoxicated after a traffic stop that was initiated because she was following the arresting officers' vehicle too closely and made a lane change without signaling, state police said.

Spearman is scheduled to appear at 7 p.m., Sept. 3, in Yorktown Justice Court.
