Police Seeking Public's Help To Solve Stop & Shop Robbery In Peekskill

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The City of Peekskill Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying the person who robbed the Stop & Shop in the Beach Shopping Center in Peekskill on Wednesday.

According to police, the man who can be seen in a video wearing a white shirt and black knit cap, walked into the store at 10:30 p.m., passed a cashier a note demanding cash, and after receiving money, left the store, said Lt. John White.

He was last seen leaving the area in a four-door sedan on Main Street, White added.

Anyone with information is asked to call 914-737-8000 and ask to speak with a detective. All calls will be kept confidential.
