PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- New York State Police have charged a Peekskill man with sexually abusing a child, officials said.
The State Police Computer Crimes Unit investigated the online activities of Byron C. Summers, 31, and say he allegedly subjected a minor to sexual contact on multiple occasions, authorities said.
Summers was charged with one count of first-degree sexual abuse and was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Oct. 23, police said.
