CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt was evacuated for about 50 minutes this morning.
According to the Lakeland Central School District, the evacuation was part of a police investigation. There is no direct threat to safety of the students or the building, the district said.
Students were evacuated at about 10:30 a.m. and returned to the building at 11:20 a.m., according to the district.
