PEEKSKILL, N.Y. From live music to local shopping, there is plenty going on in Peekskill this weekend.
On Saturday, The Peekskill Farmer's Market will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Bank Street. Come shop for plants, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, cheeses and other locally made products.
Also on Saturday, the city will be holding a city-wide tag sale from 10 a.m. to dusk at several homes.

On Sunday, the Peekskill Attic Treasurers Flea Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Bank Street. Come search for clothes, shoes, electronics, books, video games and tons more.
Also on Sunday, The United Methodist Church of Peekskill will hold a concert featuring the Bronx Bethany Church of the Nazarene Chancel Choir. The show starts at 4 p.m. and admission is free. Donations will be collected for the Project Dorcas Health Clinic in Yipala, Ghana. For more information call (914)737-8544.
As always, there are plenty of live performances at venues across the city: At 12 Grapes Friday, indie rockers Phineas and the Lonely Leaves will perfrom. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and admission is $5, including diners.
On Saturday, Pink Floyd tribute band Beyond the Wall will perform a night of the bands beloved songs with a full spectrum of lights, video and sound. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and admission is $15 and $10 for diners.
On Sunday, jazz singer/songwriter Cassandra Frake will perform with Haley Jane Rose and Jen Fischer starting at 6 p.m. Admission is free. At Division Street Grill, Deena Goidel will give a piano & vocal performance Friday starting at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, while Bucky Pizzarelli & Jerry Bruno will perform two shows, 7:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. At the BeanRunner Café, ILan' Ban' will bring the sounds of the Carribean to Peekskill Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10.
On Saturday, saxophonist Ray Blue will perform at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10. At the Peekskill Coffee House, rock/folk songwriter Fred Gillen Jr. will perform on Friday and Saturday will be an open mike night hosted by Andy Rice. Both shows begin at 8 p.m. and admission is free.
