CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Motorists on Goat Trail can expect to see some road closures over the next few days due to construction.
The State Department of Transportation announced US Route 6/State Route 202 (Goat Trail) between Route 9D at the Bear Mountain Bridge and Route 9 at Annsville Circle is being closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday, Sept. 29 through Thursday, Oct. 1 while construction is underway.
A detour route will be in place, but motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly, DOT said.
The detour for eastbound motorists will include traveling north on Route 9D to Route 403 east to Route 9 south to Annsville Circle, DOT said.
The detour for westbound motorists will include traveling north on Route 9 to Route 403 west to Route 9D south to the Bear Mountain Bridge, DOT said.
