PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Peekskill officials, including Mayor Frank A. Catalina, are hoping that several new projects planned for the city will not only help draw businesses to the area, but also families and especially millennials, according to lohud.com.
The new projects include a number of private and municipal developments ranging from the new and improved Southern Waterfront Park and Trailway and the Lincoln Depot Museum to luxury high-rise apartments with retail stores on the bottom and an inn and spa, in addition to other projects, said lohud.com.
In addition, 50 subsidized artists lofts and 25 rentals are planned on Main and Diven streets. Most of the plans are in the approval process, with several close to breaking ground, added lohud.com.
