PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -There are plenty of things to do indoors to stay dry this weekend throughout the city.
The Dr. Jazz Trio will perform at 7 p.m. at the The Division Street Grill.
There will be a CD release party with Kati Mac at the The BeanRunner Cafe at 7:30 p.m. Admission $10. To reserve seats call (914) 737-1701.
Singer-songwriter Fred Gillen Jr will perform at the Peekskill Coffee House at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
Restaurant 12 Grapes presents singer-songwriters Andrea Ekizian of Andrea and the Armenian Rug Riders and Drew Bordeaux of The Drew Bordeaux Group at 9:30 p.m. Admission is a $5 entertainment fee for all, including those dining at the restaurant.
The Field Library will hold Saturday Crafts for Children starting at 11 a.m.
The library will also be featuring an exhibit of work by Charles Ruppmann, a longtime New York Daily News photographer. The opening reception for the exhibit will be from 1 - 4 p.m. at the library gallery.
Fred Smith, former musical director for the Harlem Blues & Jazz Band, will present Traveling Through the History of Jazz: Part 2 at the BeanRunner Cafe at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10. Fred and his band will bring listeners through the modern jazz, Broadway & be-bop era.
The Art Smith Project will perform a free jazz/rock performance at 8:00 p.m. at the Peekskill Coffee House.
Restaurant 12 Grapes presents A Tribute to Aerosmith with Get Your Wings at 9:30 p.m. Admission is a $10 entertainment fee for all, including diners.
Phineas and the Lonely Leaves will perform at The Birdsall House starting at 10 p.m. Admission is free.
Marc Von Em, a singer/songwriter whose sound is rooted in blues, folk, rock and reggae, will perform a free set at 12 Grapes at noon.
The Paramount will screen the story of Cinderella as told in Massenets opera Cendrillon at 1 p.m. Filmed live at the Royal Opera House in London, it is sung in French with English subtitles and is 2-hours 50-minutes long with one intermission. Admission is $16 for members and $20 for the general public.
Peekskill Playhouse Presents "The Rookie", written and directed by Bob Zaslow, at the BeanRunner Cafe at 4 p.m. Admission is $12.
