CROTON, N.Y. -- Who can resist the cozy booth of a diner? If you’re not drawn in by the often retro ambiance, you’re no doubt driven by the menu, mammoth undertakings filled with pages and pages of comfort food, not to mention unlimited cups of coffee.

Known For: Being a family place with daily specials and fresh cooking.

The restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. and offers lots of salads, along with fresh fish, steaks and goulash.

Behind the Scenes: The diner has many employees who have worked there for more than 20 years.

Owner Peter Tsagarakis said he takes great pride in really caring about his customers and making the diner their home away from home.
