Field Library In Peekskill Offers Activities Over Winter Break

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Children are invited to a series of programs during Peekskill's vacation week. All programs are free.

On Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m., children are invited to celebrate African-American History Month with a special Unity Quilt project. Children and adults can make a square to add to the Field Library Unity Quilt display. All materials are provided.

Children of all ages are invited to Games Galore on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. The library has a large collection of board games for children of different ages. 

Children can join the library for a special program called "Trains, Trains & More Trains" on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 2 pm.This is an opportunity for all train lovers to play with the library's huge collection of Thomas (and other) trains.

On Friday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m., children 5 and older can build and create at the library's "Lego My Library" program.
