What a great way to turn a tragedy into a blessing. If this helps just one person each time it is shown it is successful. It takes a very special parent to be able to put themselves out there and admit their child was not perfect, I hope that other parents of children who have had problems with addiction use Mr. Veatch as an example and get out there and tell their story. I think that many parents feel they are the only ones going through this or they just want to save face. There are so many families in our community dealing with these issues. View Comment
I agree go for it. I grew up with suburban backyard chickens and started my own flock about 6 years ago. While I have a little more property then you do I have had no complaints from the neighbors and I have had roosters. I have 2 coops and pens and currently have 8 full grown chickens and 21 chicks that my students hatched. Oh, by the way, mine are underground chickens, my municipality requires 5 acres to have poultry. View Comment
