Let me thank all of you for another wonderful basketball season. I hope you realize what you have done for your school and the Ossining community. I wish all you seniors the best. in life, in school, your chosen career, and in basketball.
For the rest of the team - SEE YOU NEXT YEAR! View Comment
My youngest grandson is 14 years old and I still get a wonderful feeling on opening day in Ossining. It puts a smile on my face when I think how lucky these kids are to play baseball for the absolute fun of it. View Comment
What class warfare? I was aware of the added cost. However, I do support transportation as long as it is within the school district. I also believe that going to Kennedy is not necessarily "a better life". View Comment
Just stop and think... If Mr. Kennedy was successful in taking his child out, what would he brought back with him that would have affected the rest of the babies in the nursery? Mr. Kennedy, what you attempted to do was WRONG and how you handled it was wrong.

A " shift in chemicals" is caused by making a turn or curve too fast. I live on Fowler Avenue and have witnessed the Cook trucks going up Fowler to fast. I regret not calling and reporting it. I will in the future. View Comment
I hope somebody is watching out for Ossining's interests and not the builder's or their own. Of course, we won't know for sure until it is too late. Sounds cynical. View Comment
Why isn't the Chamber of Commerce and the local businesses doing this instead of the taxpayers? We should not be providing new services funded by the taxpayers when other services have been cut back on. Crotonville streets are lined with piles of leaves and there is no leaf pickup in sight. Besides, as much as I love Ossinng, it has never been or will ever be a big business center and $50,00 is not going to change that. View Comment
What services are going to be reduced or eliminated with the reduction in taxes? I have lived i the Town of Ossining for over 40 years and along with the "no tax increase" mentality has come a reduction in services. Ex. The streets of Crotonville have not seen the leaf truck once this fall. The basketball court in Gerlach Park has been in poor shape for years. The STOP lines at stop signs are no longer in existence.
