Yes as this is true the fiscal responsibility is at question as always. Seem to come up with big monies for Memorial projects n playground monies I cd think of two right now . Meanwhile our infrastructure is in dire need of repair.... In the town of Cortlandt and yes I will hear agaiin and again these monies were set aside or granted. Getting old (fix the roads)......... Unfortunately these r the main cruising roads for the families to run there kids to the local schools sporting events n to get to work on time. Sorry it just won't change unless your the unlucky one to get a ticket. Those roads been that way for years.... View Comment

Good decision on saving the taxpayers money in the town of Cortlandt. Everyone is struggling financially with the way the economy is and where monies are spent. It won't be even located in Cortlandt. I certainly know Buchanan doesn't have money to give to such a project . Let it be known a wonderful idea and great vision but not now!!! Only 20 miles south of Croton in Valhalla Kensico Dam is a beautiful memorial for all to cherish is the memorial called the Rising it incorporates the names of all westchester residents who died in the community. I've been there a few times and is magnificent for all County residents. View Comment
