Yorktown High Football Team Returns Hungry For Another Shot At Playoffs

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. - After advancing to the Section 1 Class A semifinals last fall - where the team suffered an agonizing, last-minute loss to Rye - the Yorktown High football team returns hungry for another shot at the playoffs this fall.

"We've had some exciting moments," Huskers coach Mike Rescigno told Daily Voice during a recent visit to Yorktown's camp. "Kids and coaches are on point, and the kids are having fun. We're hoping for a good season."

Yorktown will look to team captains Dom Cioffi, Jose Boyer, Max Costello, Anthony Dicanio, Steven Veteri and Justin Cavallo for leadership.
