Eleventh-seeded Peekskill will face No. 15 Pelham in the first semifinal at 6:30 p.m. Both teams pulled off some upsets to reach the County Center, perhaps none more shocking than the Pelicans’ 50-43 win against No. 2 Sleepy Hollow in the first round.

Peekskill beat No. 6 Beacon in the opening round and then knocked off No. 14 Rye in the quarterfinals. Pelham followed up its opening-round stunner with a win against No. 7 Nanuet.

Top-seeded Pearl River will face No. 4 Albertus Magnus in the other semifinal at 8:15 p.m. Pearl River soundly defeated Hendrick Hudson, 56-34, in the quarterfinals, while Albertus Magnus routed John Jay, 76-46.

The winners of the two semifinal games will play for the section championship at 5 p.m. March 3.
