Golfers Flock To Country Clubs As Far North As Dutchess County

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. -- This fall's unseasonably mild weather has provided a brisk business for area golf clubs as far north as Dutchess County.

Steve Callagy, golf club manager for Beekman Country Club, said, "We've done really well for this late in the year."

Due to ideal golfing conditions, Callagy said that Beekman's courses at 11 Country Club Road in Hopewell Junction will be open through Sunday.

To reserve tee times, call (845) 226-7700. The club's normal daily hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

End of the season "any time rates," including carts are $35 for 18 holes on weekdays, $20 for nine holes on weekdays, $60 for 18 holes on Saturday/Sunday and $35 for nine holes during the season's final weekend.
