State Police In Somers Seek Help In Catching Suspect In $5K Bank ID Theft

New York State Police in Somers are asking for the public’s assistance as they search for a suspect who is wanted for questioning after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from his victim.

On Wednesday, state police announced that they are investigating a grand larceny and identity theft case that occurred in December last year. According to police, the suspect - who was last seen wearing a black hat, black shirt and dark jacket with eyeglasses - withdrew more than $5,000 from the victim’s bank accounts at Chase Bank locations in Brooklyn.
