PEEKSKILL, N.Y. — The Peekskill City School District's Board of Education voted Tuesday to move ahead with the reopening of Uriah Hill Elementary School for use by prekindergarten students next fall.
The board voted to reopen the school and also to allow the superintendent to lease space in the building to outside parties.
The architectural firm of Fuller D'Angelo of Elmsford will begin preparing plans to submit to the state for approval.
