PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – It was a picture perfect day for a graduation Sunday at Peekskill High School.

Nearly 200 students lined up in the school before marching out to the parade grounds where their families waited in the large tent where the ceremony was held.

Sunday's graduation was attended not only by the families of new graduates, but administrators, board of education trustees and city council members.

The ceremony featured remarks from Principal Sherill Murray-Lazarus and Superintendent James Willis, as well as speeches by the class valedictorian and salutatorian, twin sisters Jennifer and Jenesis Tanesaca. Student body president Stephanie Michelle Gil and class president Kwasi Ampofo Yeboah also spoke.
