Peekskill Gears Up For Superintendent Search

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill City School District announced it has hired Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES as its search consultants as it looks for a new superintendent.

The consultants, James Ryan, John McCarthy and Lynn Allen, will be working with the school community and the school board during the selection process

BOCES is hosting several forums for community members in both English and Spanish.

A forum will be held from on Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in English at the middle school and from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. in Spanish.

Another forum will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon in English at the district office and from noon to 1 p.m. in Spanish. Members of the Peekskill Board of Education will not be attending the meetings.

Following these forums, BOCES will prepare a consolidated report of feedback received and use this information to develop the criteria for the new Superintendent.
