Peekskill Budget Passes; Simpkins, Clausen, Pereira Lead Votes

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill City School District budget was approved by voters Tuesday night by a preliminary vote tally of 371-280.

Preliminary voting results showed incumbent school board trustee Michael Simpkins winning another term while newcomers Jillian Clausen and Maria Pereira leading the votes for the other two open seats.
