Nine From Peekskill Get Honors At Their Colleges

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Nine college students from Peekskill have been honored by their schools for academic achievement in the fall 2012 semester:

• Dominic Evangelista of Peekskill was named to the Marist College Dean's List for the fall 2012 Semester. He is a member of the class of 2015 and is majoring in accounting.
• Three Peekskill residents were named to the Dean's List at the State University of New York at New Paltz for the fall 2012 semester: Kristin Mayo, international relations; Kyle McDonald, communication media; Andre Simpson, sociology.
• Keenan King of Peekskill Named to SUNY Canton President's List. King a SUNY Canton Finance major. He is a 2010 graduate of Peekskill High School.
• Maria Clinton of Peekskill was named to the Dean's List at Fairfield University for the fall 2012 semester.
• Melissa Bohuniek of Peekskill was named to the fall 2012 Dean's List at SUNY Oneonta
• Renee Kropf of Peekskill was named to the fall 2012 Dean's List at Taylor University.
• Aimee Hirsch of Peekskill, a senior journalism major, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at SUNY Oswego.
