How Are You Helping Your School?

Are you voting for your school in the Better Schools Bonanza? The contest, presented by Main Street Connect and sponsored by Entergy, is just past the midway point. Parents, teachers, families and friends are voting for the school of their choice to help them win the $10,000 grand prize.

We've heard that some parents are setting up tables and giving out donuts during the morning drop off, to encourage people to vote. Some schools' PTO/PTA groups are sending out emails to their school lists. Others are publishing stories on their PTO/PTA website to help spread the word.

The competition is heating up as we head into the final stretch of voting. On Friday, we'll start showing you the live count - as it changes moment by moment - in the sidebar of our sites. You'll see, at a glance, which school is closest to the $10,000 grand prize. The Better Schools Bonanza is sponsored by Entergy.
