PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Hillcrest Elementary students recently participated in an "Hour of Code" in celebration of National Computer Science Week.
Students learned about computer coding through the popular game of Minecraft as an example.
They were surprised at how easily they were able to create games and graphics using computer coding and enjoyed learning the new skill.
Students in more than 180 countries participated in the Hour of Code initiative.
