The woman was running on East Middle Patent Road around 9:45 a.m. when the dogs came after her, police said.

She escaped by jumping into someone's car. The pit bulls did not have collars, the woman told police.

Both dogs were gone by the time police were able to respond to the scene.

Monday, June 6: A motorist driving alone Route 22 around 11:34 a.m. called police to report that he had seen a woman leap out of a car, screaming “Call 911.”

The caller said the woman was only wearing a black bra and had long, black hair.

He told police that the car was a four-door, white sedan with possible Connecticut license plates.

The woman then got back into the car, which, the caller said, was being driven by a Hispanic man wearing a black T-shirt.

The car took off north on Route 22, possibly towards Interstate-684, police were told.

Police responded to the area, but found nothing.

They also notified state police, but neither the vehicle nor the people were found.

There were no further details Thursday, police said.

Sunday, June 5: A North Broadway resident called police to complain about yelling, screaming, and banging coming from the apartment above his.

The man told police that he had spoken to his neighbors about the noise in the past, but was afraid to approach them again because the last confrontation had almost become “physical.”

Two officers responded. No further details were available.
