Ridgefield Library To Host Dr. Seuss Birthday Party

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Dr. Seuss turns 109 this year, and the Ridgefield Library is celebrating in a big way.

The Ridgefield Library will host a day-long 109th birthday party in honor of children's book author Dr. Seuss.

On March 2 it will hold a day of Seuss-themed crafts, decorations, raffles and giveaways from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  A special Seuss-themed story time will take place at 10:30 a.m. 

Born Theodor Seuss Geisel in 1904, Dr. Seuss wrote 46 well-loved children’s books, including "Cat in the Hat," "Horton Hears a Who," "Go Dog Go" and "Green Eggs and Ham."
