Stamford Homeless Shelter Gets $15K Grant

STAMFORD, Conn. — The Shelter for the Homeless in Stamford has received a $15,000 grant from the Fairfield County Community Foundation to help update its marketing program, which would include the development of a website, a press release said.

“Individuals, organizations, and businesses need to be able to easily access information about our programs,” Rafael Pagan Jr., executive director for the shelter, said, speaking of the grant’s importance.

The vote by the board of the Fairfield County Community Foundation to approve the grant took place in December.
